Welcome to my stop of The Ivies book tour! It is m my first book tour ever, and I am honored to review The Ivies by Alexa Donne.

In my latest book review, I tackle Dahlia Adler’s newest novel, Cool for the Summer—a Jewish LGBTQ+ narrative about growing into yourself.

I loved diving back into the Carter family, even though it was 18(ish) years prior, and during a different time. I was always intrigued by Maverick, and I was so glad to read about one of the most crucial points of his life. He has gone through a lot of hardships throughout his life, a lot of them occurring in this book. But his character was written beautifully—he was so real that you could feel every emotion. It was during these moments that reminded me how skilled Angie Thomas is at crafting characters.

Here we go! … Continue Reading

Also, I really liked the book, so there’s that too. Note: I received an advanced copy of this … Continue Reading

I read this book the week before BookCon a few months, so I’m excited to finally review it because I loved it so much. After this review I have another YA review that was actually a NetGalley ARC, then I have two more travel narratives from the 18th century (both non-fiction), and then I’m finally … Continue Reading
